The Chesa Sulai is an authentic Engadine farmhouse, whose earliest roots to the 14th Century date back. This is a good example of an original Engadine house: The mostly brick multi-purpose building resulted from the merger of several, once isolated and separate standing by function elements of a rural homestead. Here bunkhouse, memory, stable and barn were combined into one building. A special feature of this house is the in the Sulèr set, undisguised knitting tower. Since circa 1960 the farmhouse was used as a pure residential building. After a partial renovation in the 90s, the house has been furnished to the winter season 2013/2014 out as a holiday home.
